CHILDREN’S MINISTRY LEADER
Carolina loves children. She has a great desire to support families and to teach children to know Jesus from the Bible. Carolina worked as a secondary school teacher for 27 years in South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales, 10 of which included working as a School Counsellor in an R – 12 Area School.
In 2014 Carolina went to Italy where she lived for 5 years and taught English to Junior Primary, Primary and Middle School students in 3 different locations. After returning to Australia at the end of 2019, she changed course again and is currently employed as a Pastoral Care Worker (school chaplain) in a Primary School in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
Carolina’s role in this parish involves leading a Children’s ministry during the 10am service on Sundays and coordinating our Playgroup on Thursdays during school terms (9.30 – 11am).
Carolina has both Italian and Anglo family heritage and loves speaking Italian whenever the opportunity arises. She loves going for walks in nature, both in the bush and at the beach and enjoys catching up with people for a chat over coffee or a meal. She looks forward to getting to know you and walking with you in the journey ahead of us.
