Regular Activities
Vision Prayer Meeting
We gather to pray for God’s kingdom to grow in our midst, meeting from 6.30 – 7pm on the first Wednesday of every month in the Cottage at St Michael and All Angels, Henley Beach.
In August and September, during the Alpha Course, the Vision Prayer will be meeting at 10am on Saturday 10 August and Saturday 14 September in the Cottage at St Michael and All Angels, Henley Beach.
Regenerate Bible Study
Everyone is welcome! We gather to grow spiritually through Bible study, prayer and fellowship, meeting weekly in school terms on Wednesday evenings from 7 – 8.30pm in the Cottage at St Michael and All Angels, Henley Beach.
During August and September, the group is participating in the Alpha course on Wednesdays 7-9pm in St Michael and All Angels Church, Henley Beach. Everyone is welcome to come along to Alpha. For more information email us through our Contact page.
Ripple Effect Course
The Ripple Effect course is designed to help everyday Christians talk about Jesus in the midst of everyday conversations. It helps Christians better understand for themselves the good news about Jesus, to love family and friends and pray for them, and to hear what God is doing through others as we pray for them.
The course has several modules of 8 sessions. Each session has a brief video, Bible study and discussion, plus time for prayer, taking about 1 hour. Groups will be run during the week at variety of times and locations. We hope you can join a group and be equipped! For more information, email us through our Contact page.
Craft Group
Bring your own craft and work on it among a friendly group. We meet every second Wednesday from 12.30 – 2pm in “The Cottage” connected to the hall at St Michael and All Angels, Henley Beach. The cost is $2.50 which includes afternoon tea. For more information, contact the parish office, Wednesdays 10am-12noon on 8356 8301.
Mother’s Union
Meets at St Michael’s, Henley Beach on the third Monday of each month at 1.30 pm in the Cottage.
Sanctuary Guild
Meets at St Michael’s, Henley Beach on the second Thursday of each month at noon in the Cottage. Everyone brings their own cut lunch to eat during the meeting.
